Well I am finally doing it... starting a blog. Friends, my husband kept asking me why I never started one and how it is that all my pearls of wisdom have not been typed for all to see :)

I love reading blogs and have many things to say on the topics of pregnancy, childbirth, new motherhood and the life that is the stay at home parent. However, I doubt anyone would want to just read about my daily rantings, as interesting as I think they are, but last weekend I had this great idea to create a site dedicated to my thoughts on travel with baby. Thoughts, advice, stories...

My son has visited 11 states in his 10 months of life. And with an upcoming Florida trip, he will hit 12 before 12 months. I like to travel. I have instilled that love of adventure in my husband, and we did not want baby to stop us from getting out and about in the world. Now baby C has been on 8 plane rides (4 r/t), two amtrak round trips (to DC and Boston), LIRR and the NY Subway countless times, and of course buses and cars. I want to share my story of journeys near and far. And hopefully inspire other moms to get out and about with their lil ones.
